An elderly couple, who have seen me walk the streets of Havana for years, finally stopped me on my way home one evening, and asked me to take their portrait. When I returned the following months, they had been relocated to another housing development, out in the country, to make way for a new hotel development. This location is the heart of Havana, next to the Malecon, and they are only the first of many who be displced by the recent economic developments to encourage tourism.
